Harmony in the ranks of Los Angeles Zionists who were divided on the question of whether or not the United Palestine Appeal is to be incorporated in the United Jewish Campaign was restored as a result of the visit here of Louis Lipsky, president of the Zionist Organization of America.

At a conference held under the chairmanship of Judge Harry A Holler a resolution was passed urging all Zionist groups to cooperate in the Palestine fund raising. A new administrative committee was chosen consisting of the chairmen of the local Zionist groups, Rabbis Edgar F. Magnin, Herman Lissauer and S. M. Neches, and Jacob J. Lieberman, I. Irving Lipsitch, Bernard Schireson and Ben M. Goldman.

The new committee pledged itself to insure the raising of Los Angeles quota in the United Palestine Appeal wether or not the campaign is conducted with the United Jewish Appeal, the Jewish community chest of Los Angeles, or separately.

Upon his arrival Mr. Lipsky was met by a delegation of Zionists and accorded a public reception in the office of Mayor Cryer. He addressed Congregation Sinai on Friday night and Temple B’nai Brith on Saturday morning.

A mass meeting of Zionists was held Sunday night at Temple Emanu-El. Large and enthusiastic audiences attended the numerous functions which were arranged in connection with Mr. Lipsky’s visit.
