Louis M. Rabinowitz, industrialist and philanthropist, who became known in this country and abroad as a bibliophile, patron of the arts and contributor to educational projects, died yesterday at the age of 69. He came to this country from Russia at the age of 14. His greatest gifts were to Yale University where he endowed the Rabinowitz Fund for Judaica Research and established a chair in Semitic languages and literature.
