Louis Segal, member of the Jewish Agency executive and leader of the Labor Zionist movement in this country, was honored last night at a testimonial dinner marking his 30th anniversary as general secretary of the Farband-Labor Zionist Order which has more than 100 branches throughout the United States and Canada.
The celebration, attended by leading personalities in American Jewish life, took place at the summer resort of the Farband in Highland Mills, N.Y. Messages of congratulations were received from Premier David Ben Gurion of Israel; Itzhak Ben-Zvi, President of Israel; Joseph Sprinzak, chairman of the Knesset; Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization; and from many other leaders in Israel and the United States.
