The Greek government, following intervention by the president of the Greek Zionists, Mallah, has agreed to a fifty per cent. lowering of the fees for Palestine travelers who embark at Salonica. Through this measure it is hoped to attract at least 20,000 Jews annually and to promote the restoration of business, which declined in recent years, in the port.
