Sydney Lubarr, for many years an executive with the Israel Bond Organization has been named national coordinator of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., Max Ratner of Cleveland, the president of the organization, announced today. Ratner said Lubarr would be responsible for organizing new chapters of the Chamber throughout the US and would work with existing Chamber chapters in programming and organizing.
Philip Opher, executive director of the Chamber, pointed out that in order to strengthen American-Israel economic relations, it is important that Chamber chapters are opened throughout the US.
