The Nazi maelstrom, spreading in ever-widening circles, day came into conflict with the entire Christian world, as General Ludendorff, in Munich, through his paper, “The Vol###warte”, called upon the Reich government to prohibit Ch###tianity because it is an expression of the Jewish spirit. Me### while official spokesmen for Christian churches of varying ### nominations, in Germany itself, in Canada, in the United States and in other countries, declared themselves in protest against the National Socialists.

While the Ludendorff press began its general and inclusive a### on Christianity as an offspring of Judaism, Dr. Waldemar Otte, char### of the Breslau Cathedral, expressed the disapproval of the Catholic ch### over Nazi anti-Semitism. At the same time the synod of the Mont### diocese of the Anglican Church met, and officially went on record aga### the Hitlerite persecutions.

While individual expressions of horror from ministers of all denom# nations have been innumerable, and churchmen have been present a almost all general protest meetings on the subject of the treatment o### German Jews, the latest development indicated that the Nazis might spread from their anti-Jewish campaign to a campaign against Christianity as well.

The following dispatches from representatives of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency disclose the developments in Nazi-Christian relationships
