On the heels of the nomination of David T. Wilentz of Perth Amboy for Attorney General of New Jersey, Governor Moore has nominated Judge Morris E. Barison of Jersey City for judge of the Hudson County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, a promotion from the County Traffic Court.
With the confirmation of Judge Barison, who is active in the New Jersey Federation of Y.M.H.A.’s and Y.W.H.A.’s, the Jewish War Veterans and other groups, the State will have three Jewish juvenile court justices, including Joseph Siegler in Newark and Henry S. Waldman in Elizabeth.
The Governor has also nominated Herman Tobin of Passaic for the Passaic County Tax Board and Prof. Jacob G. Lipman, director of the State Agricultural Experiment Station, and Harold S. Buttenheim of Madison to serve on two State committees to cooperate with the NRA program.
