Extension of the categories of enemy aliens who should be released from internment was urged today by a parliamentary deputation headed by Capt. Victor Cazalet, Conservative, in a visit to the Aliens Advisory Committee.
The deputation appealed for broader interpretation of the proviso dealing with release of internees for work of national importance.
At the same time it was reported that British authorities had rejected a plea by Sir Oswald Mosley, head of the British Union of Fascists, for release from internment.
