The Czecho-Slovakian government through its Ministry of Health has granted a subsidy of 10,000 kronen to the Jewish Maccabee Sport Federation of Czecho-Slovakia. The significance of the subvention lies in the fact that the Maccabee Federation is thus recognized by the government as one of the leading organizations promoting sport and health activities in Czecho-Slovakia.
