The World Maccabi Union closed its meetings here today after deciding that the fifth Maccabiah would be held in 1957. Jewish athletes from all parts of the world were urged to participate in the next competition. A plan for the establishment of a permanent Maccabi village which would serve as a boarding place for Jewish youths from all parts of the world studying and working in Israel was also put forth.
