An offer by the New Zionist Organization to help weed out German spies from illegal immigrants entering Palestine was described as “valueless” in the House of Commons today by Colonial Secretary Malcolm MacDonald. Replying to a question by Geoffrey Mander, Liberal, MacDonald said the British Government “naturally was unable to entertain an offer by an organization known to be engaged in promoting the traffic of illegals.”
