Madison to Be Host to District No. 6, B’nai B’rith

Six to seven hundred delegates, alternates, and visitors from four Canadian provinces, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Iowa and Minnesota comprising the District Grand Lodge No. 6 of the B’nai B’rith are expected to attend the 62nd annual convention which is to be held at Madison, Wis., June 28, 29, 30 and July 1.

The convention will open Sunday morning with addresses of welcome from State and City officials and a response by William Sultan of Chicago. Professor A. L. Sachar of Champaign, Ill., will be one of the speakers on Sunday evening and Professor Glenn Frank, president of the University of Wisconsin, will be the main speaker at a banquet to be held on Monday evening at the Hotel Loraine.

The following are the present officers of District No. 6: president, Leo Reitman of Milwaukee, Wis.; first vice-president, William Sultan of Chicago, Ill.; second vice-president, Harry Lashkowitz of Fargo, N. D.; secretary, Otto G. Felton of Chicago, Ill.; treasurer, Jacob Alter of Chicago, Ill., and sargent-at-arms—state treasurer, Solomon Levitan of Madison, Wis.
