The lead article scheduled for the April 16 issue of The New York Times Magazine is titled, “The Russian Jews Wonder Whether Israel Is Really Ready For Them.” It was written by Sol Stern who is identified in the magazine as a free lance writer in Israel. Several who have read the advance copies told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today that it is a “damaging article,” especially since it appears a few weeks before President Nixon is scheduled to go to Moscow.
