There is astonishment in many quarters here at hearing that Dr. Judah L. Magnes, chancellor of the Hebrew University, has sent his pamphlet, “Like All the Nations?” to all members of Parliament. Some regard this action as a breach of the promise Dr. Magnes made to the Vaad Leumi, not to engage in independent political activity.
