The disturbances in Palestine are a temporary condition, brought on by Italian propaganda which is seeking to make England’s position difficult, it was declared today by Major Henry Adam Proctor, Conservative member of the House of Commons, at a luncheon in his honor today by the Zionist Organization of America.

Introduced by Morris Rothenberg, president of the Z.O.A. as one of the outstanding experts on Palestine in Parliament and one who had been active in protecting Jewish rights in the rebuilding of the Holy Land, Major Procter said:

“No use of force or lawlessness will change the determination of Great Britain to carry out its pledge to help establish the Jewish National Home in Palestine.”
