Major St. John Philby, the British Political Officer in Transjordania, and the Emirs Skahir and Tallal have left Amman for Akaba to meet there King Hussein of the Hedjas and to escort him to Amman where a conference between the King and his two sons, the rulers of Transjordania and Mesopotamia, respectively, is to be held in a few days.
Sir Herbert Samuel who is now at Luxor, Egypt, is returning to Jerusalem in time to proceed to Amman for the conference.
