Results of a public opinion poll released today showed that 55 percent of the population is not satisfied with the government’s efforts to close the social gap between rich and poor in Israel. According to the poll, 46 percent of Israelis do not think the government is doing enough, and nine percent hold that the government is doing nothing at all. Of the remainder, 22 percent believe government measures are adequate and 22 percent say the government is doing more or less what should be done.
