The man killed in a boiler room accident at the Hadera power station yesterday was identified as Yosef Patak, 36, of Or Akiva, who was employed as a welder. Two other workers, Menahem Asraf and Menashe Zaguri suffered severe burns in the same accident caused when a tube burst releasing high pressure steam from the coal-fired boiler. A third man sustained slight injuries. A spokesman for the power station said the accident victims were engaged in routine maintenance work on the boiler, which was not in service at the time. Power output was not affected.
