IT IS UNDERSTOOD THE MANDATES COMMISSION, IN PRESENTING ITS REPORT TO THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS COUNCIL IN SEPTEMBER, WILL MAKE NO SPECIAL SUGGESTIONS, BUT WILL MERELY SUMMARIZE THE ARGUMENTS FOR AND AGAINST PARTITION AND OTHER SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS OF THE PALESTINE DEADLOCK.
DR. CHAIM WEIZMANN, WHO WAS REPORTED TO HAVE GONE TO GENEVA FRIDAY, DEFERRED HIS DEPARTURE UNTIL WEDNESDAY, WHEN IT IS EXPECTED HE WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE THE MANDATES COMMISSION A DEFINITE STATEMENT ON THE ZIONIST STAND ON PARTITION.
