Funeral services were held here yesterday for Mrs. Blanche Rosenbaum Mandel, who died last Friday after a heart attack. Her son, Leon Mandel, Jr., who was on an expedition in Guatemala at the time of his mother’s death, arrived here yesterday from Central America by plane.
Mrs. Mandel was buried in Rosehill Cemetery. She was the widow of the late Frederick H. Mandel, founder of Mandel Brothers store in Chicago.
