Manehester Jews Join in Fight on Johnson Bill

Manchester Jews have joined with the Jewry of New England in the movement to fight the Johnson Immigration Bill, launching their protest at a meeting of the Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Associations. A conference for the state of New Hampshire will be called shortly, according to I. Brodie, presiding officer of the meeting, who declared that the Jews of Manchester and other cities will do everything in their power to defeat the proposed bill A committee from Boston will assist in the work. The principal speaker at the Sunday night meeting was M. N. Fisher, Secretary of the Conference of Jewish Organizations of Massachusetts.
