A Jewish manufacturer in Vienna was arrested eight times in five weeks, and was then permitted to leave the country with 30 marks after signing a form turning over all his property to the State, the News-Chronicle reported today from Berlin. The manufacturer is Herr Loroeller, 72-year-old owner of the Baren Mills in Vienna and a former City Councillor, said the correspondent, who cited this as “an authenticated example of the abuses leading to chaos in Austrian industry.”
