The Jewish newspaper Haint reports today that many Jewish families have been ordered by the Polish authorities to evacuate the port city of Gdynia. The order presumably is based on the right of the authorities in frontier districts to decide who is to be allowed to reside there. The number of persons affected is not known, but it is estimated that several hundred families are involved.
