A rise in employment placements for refugee men and women in the first quarter of 1942 is reported today by the National Refugee Service.
From January through March, job placements totalled 1,643 as compared with 1,595 for the preceding three months. An additional 155 placements were made in behalf of professionals-72 being for physicians, the balance for musicians and religious functionaries.
