The Moscow correspondent of the newspaper La Cite Nouvelle reports that thousands of Jews in Soviet Russia have demonstrated before official Soviet institutions asking for Soviet intervention in behalf of the Jews in Nazi-occupied Poland.
The correspondent declares that as a result of these demonstrations, which were the first of their kind under the Soviet regime, many Jews were arrested and a large number of them exiled to Siberia.
