Mapam deputy Yitzhak Ben Aharon today introduced a motion in Parliament calling for a discussion of “Israel’s request to the United States for military assistance.” Meir Argov, chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs Committee, said that he would have to obtain information about the subject before he could report on it, and the House agreed with him.
