A Mapam and Communist-sponsored conference adopted a resolution here today to establish an Israel branch of the “World Peace Movement.” Speakers addressing the left-wing parley — who included Meir Yaari, Parliamentary deputy of the left-wing United workers Party (Mapam), Dr. Moshe Sneh, former Jewish Agency executive member and also a Mapam deputy in the Knesset, and Tewfik Toubi, Arab Communist leader — stressed the improvement in the situation of Arab residents of Israel.
