Marcus M. Sperber, a prominent attorney and an active leader of the Canadian Jewish community, died here yesterday at the age of 76. Born in Austria, Mr. Sperber was brought to Canada at the age of six. He was a founder of the Montreal Young Men’s Hebrew Association and a former president of the Baron de Hirsch Institute, the Canadian Sponsors Committee for a Jewish Army and the Zionist Revisionist Organization of Canada.
