A relentless boycott is the most effective means of combating Nazism, according to Rabbi William Margolis of Congregation Chab Zedek, who last night spoke at the banquet of the Congregation Kahilath Israel, 1594 Crotona Park East, Bronx.
“The German excresence of Hitlerism in this progressive age may be damned and destroyed by world-wide civilized opinion,” said Rabbi Margolis. “From the Jewish point of view, however, Hitlerism or anti-Semitism by any other name means more than an economic battle or an issue for Civilization to answer. Nazism is a bitter challenge to Jewish consciousness; and Jews made by Hitler are not the true answer to that challenge!”
