Aryeh L. Pincus, treasurer of the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem, told American Zionists here last night that the Zionist movement must find its way to the college campus. Speaking at a reception at the Hotel Astor given by the Labor Zionist Organization of America in honor of Marie Syrkin on the occasion of her recent election to the Jewish Agency executive, Mr. Pincus said that the campus today is the Zionist movement’s major front.
Marie Syrkin who is associate professor of English at Brandeis University, said that she hoped to reach youth in every possible way. Prof. Syrkin is editor of the Jewish” Frontier, monthly magazine of the Labor Zionist Organization. She is the author of a number of works, including a biography of Israel Foreign Minister Golda Meir.
