The dedication ceremonies of the new Louis Marshall Memorial Science Building, an additional unit to the New York State College of Forestry on the campus of Syracuse University, which were planned to be conducted with the opening of the school late this month, have again been postponed until the beginning of the second semester.
The arrangements committee, headed by Assistant Dean Samuel Spring, had to defer the scheduled exercises on account of labor difficulties, which obliged to hold up the work on the building. For various reasons, the first contractor was unable to complete the structure on time, and the state had to award new contracts to finish the job.
