Marvel Comics recalled a comic book that contains an anti-Semitic slur. The latest issue of “Wolverine,” which went on sale on Yom Kippur, includes a scene in which a character refers to an adversary as “the kike known as Sabretooth.” A spokeswoman said it should have read “the killer known as Sabretooth.” The incident comes just three months after rival DC Comics was criticized for censoring all references to Jews in a comic that depicts Superman fighting the horrors of the Holocaust.
