A grand reception was accorded Thomas C. Masaryk, president of the Republic of Czechoslovakia, on his visit to Tel Aviv on Friday.
The reception was given by former Czechoslovakian and Hungarian Jews. Thousands of Tel Aviv residents cheered the president as he passed in the street. He was greeted by Rabbi Sonnenfeld.
The president visited various Jewish institutions in Tel Aviv.
