President Thomas G. Masaryk of Czechoslovakia today received Professor Walter Fischel, well known Orientalist and representative of the Hebrew University at Jerusalem, who is making a tour of Europe in the interests of the university.
The Czechoslovakian statesman question Professor Fischel on the organization and development of the Hebrew University and inquired particularly about the research work carried on there by the professors and students. He expressed sympathy with Professor Fischel’s mission in Europe.
