Will Maslow, American Jewish Congress executive director, will retire from his post on Oct. 1 on reaching the age of 65. With the Congress for more than 25 years and as executive director since 1960, he will continue as general counsel. Rabbi Arthur J. Lelyveld of Cleveland, AJ Congress president, said an announcement would be made next week of Maslow’s successor. “The officers of the American Jewish Congress have reluctantly agreed to Mr. Maslow’s request to be divested of organizational responsibilities so that he may be free to write and to undertake special projects,” Rabbi Lelyveld said.
