The mass deportation of Jews from the larger cities of Hungary was resumed during the last few days, it was reported here today.
Many trainloads of Jews have been deported to farming areas to be set to forced labor on farms, the report said. It added that Hungary is in great need of people to work on the land in the spring and that the only way vast numbers of farm hands can be secured is by the mass deportation of “undesirable elements” from the larger cities to villages.
