Governor Fuller of Massachusetts has signed a bill authorizing the Hebrew Teachers College of Boston to grant the degrees of Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Hebrew Literature, Hebrew Laws and Jewish Education. The petition for the bill was signed by Louis Hurwich, superintendent of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Boston.

The Hebrew College was opened in 1921 with thirteen students. The present attendance is 157. Dr. Samuel Perlman of Palestine is the present Dean of the College, having succeeded Dr. Nisson Touroff. Admission is open to graduates of the four-year Hebrew High School course. All subjects are taught in Hebrew. To receive a degree students must also complete at least two years at a secular college.
