A mass grave containing the remains of 40 Jews murdered by the Nazis has been discovered near Lodz, Poland, according to a report in the Polish Government newspaper Zycie Warszawy. The report said that police authorities found German rifle shells among the scraps of clothing, shoes and bones in the grave. Officials are continuing to explore the region in the belief that other mass graves may be found. A few days ago a mass grave was discovered at Rakow, near Lodz.
