Mass Meeting Held in London in Commemoration of Jews Who Died in Warsaw Ghetto Battle

A mass meeting in commemoration of the 40,000 Jewish men, women and children who perished in the Warsaw Ghetto during the uprising of 1943 was held here last night by the British Federation for Polish Jews.

Among the speakers were several survivors of the battle, and the service was led by J. Lichtenstein, only surviving cantor of the famous Nozic Synagogue of Warsaw, S. Margulies, chairman of the Federation, declared that Jews who died at the hands of the Nazis had left an imperishable legacy to mankind.
