A mass meeting to commemorate the heroic armed resistance of the Jews of Warsaw, and to honor Szmul Zygielbojm, late member of the Polish National Council in London, will be held Saturday evening, June 19, in Carnegie Hall, under the auspices of the Jewish Labor Committee.
Speakers at the meeting will include: Hon. Jan Ciechanowski, Ambassador of Poland in the United States; Dr. Stephen S. Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress; Adolph Held, chairman of the Jewish Labor Committee; Lt. Commander Herbert Agar, noted author and editor; Edgar Ansel Mowrer, well-known foreign correspondent and columnist; and leaders of the American Labor movement.
