A mass rally for Jewish rights will be held on Sunday, April 29, at the Lewisohn Stadium of the City College of New York, under the joint auspices of the American Jewish Conference and the American Zionist Emergency Comoil, it was announced today. Speakers will include Mayor Fiorello H. LaGuardia, Senator Robert F. Wagner and Dr. Stephen S. Wise.
The rally will demand a hearing for the Jewish case at San Francisco; immediate opening of the gates of Palestine to the survivors of European Jewry; and reconstruction of Palestine as a free and democratic Jewish Commonwealth. Prior to the opening of the meeting, there will be exercises by the Jewish War Veterans and a memerial service for the 5,000,000 Jewish dead of this war.
