A conference for the specific purpose of discussing ways and means of enlisting all elements of Boston and Massachusetts Jewry to participate in the 300th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Massachusetts Bay Colony and the City of Boston will be held Wednesday, April 23, at the Temple Mishkan Tefila School-house. The meeting is called under the auspices of the Associated Jewish Congregations of which Moses Mishel is president.
A standing committee for the purpose of working out the program and cooperating with other organizations planning to mark this historic event consists of Rabbi H. H. Rubenovitz, temporary chairman; Rabbi Samuel J. Abrams, Alexander Brin, Rabbi Louis M. Epstein, George E. Gordon, Lee M. Friedman, Samuel Kalesky, Rabbi Harry Levi, Leo Lyons, Bernard Marcus, Morris Morse, Rabbi Lawrence Schwartz, Harold Seidenberg and Hon. Elihu D. Stone.
