When Hitler has taken over the power, if the French should cross the frontier to march into Germany to put down the Hitlerist Government, we shall forthwith massacre all Jews in Germany, Deputy Boerger, one of the Hitlerist Deputies, declared at a Nazi meeting held in the big Fair building in Cologne.
The Prussian Government has in consequence prohibited Deputy Boerger from addressing any further public meetings in the State of Prussia.
The Hitlerist organ in Cologne, the “Westdeutscher Beobachter”, complains that the Government had no right to muzzle Deputy Boerger, because he did not threaten anything illegal in his speech, for when there is a Hitlerist Government, it claims, killing Jews will be a legal action carried out by the orders of the legal Government of the country.
