Matzohs for Jews in Poland Received by J.D.C. Headquarters in Warsaw

Close to 600,000 pounds of matzohs and matzoh flour ## reached the local offices of the Joint Distribution Committee for distribution the Jewish community in Poland for the Passover holidays, it was announced here by. Every Jew in Poland will receive approximately four pounds of matzohs and pound of flour, it was estimated.

Representatives of the J.D.C. and the Central Committee are working out a distribution plan. It is expected that the wealthier individuals will be asked to continue a special matzoh tax which will be used for Passover seders for the poor. ## homes for the aged and children’ s institutions will receive matzohs free.

Jewish bakeries in Lodz, Cracow, Wroclaw, Walbrzych and Rychbach have been ##ised allotments of flour by the Food Ministry for the local manufacture of matzohs Passover.
