The concession which Mavromatis holds for both the electricity and water supply in Jerusalem may become invalid, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns.
According to the decision of the Permanent Court of International Justice, Mr. Mavromatis had the precedence over Rutenberg for the concession in Palestine. He may lose it, however, due to the fact that he has not yet proceeded with the works, although he had obtained an extension of time from the Government.
