Max Klee, wealthy Chicago clothing merchant and director of the Jewish People’s Institute of Chicago, who died last Sunday, left $850,000 according to his will which was filed for probate before Judge Henry Horner. The will directs that $40,000 be divided among Jewish charitable organizations of Chicago and that $10,000 be spent for relief work abroad.
