Max Ratner of Cleveland, president of Forest City Enterprises, Inc., a diversified lumber and building material distribution company, has been elected president of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is comprised of leaders of banking and industry in the United States and Israel. Mr. Ratner is a director and officer in many other banking, industry and business affiliations both here and in Israel where he developed a chemical complex known as Electrochemical Frutarom Ltd., at Haifa Bay.
