The Spinoza Tricentenial Committee, of which Dr. Noah E. Aronstam is chairman, is sponsoring a movement to name a street in Detroit after Baruch Spinoza, the famous philosopher, the three hundredth anniversary of whose birth occurs this year.
A public hearing will be held before the Detroit Common Council in the near future to decide on the street to be named. This is in line with the world-wide celebration which is taking place this year in the leading cities of Europe and America.
