Mayor LaGuardia will attend the show and fashion revue of the Israel Orphan Asylum Saturday evening, March 10, in Madison Square Garden, it was announced yesterday. Judge Gustave Hartman, president of the institution, declared an attendance of 20,000 persons was indicated.
Others who have assured Judge Hartman of their presence include Postmaster General James A. Farley, United States Senators Royal S. Copeland and Robert F. Wagner, Chief Judge Cuthbert W. Pound and Judges Frederick E. Crane and John F. O’Brien of the Court of Appeals, Presiding Justice Edward R. Finch of the Appellate Division, judges of all federal and state courts in New York, leading educators and other persons of national, state and local prominence.
