Mayor John P. O’Brien will be guest speaker to about 1,000 members at the annual meeting of Junior Federation of Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies to be held at Temple Emanu-El. Wednesday evening.
Other speakers will include: Dudley D. Sicher, a former President of Federation; Benjamin Buttenwieser, well known philanthropist; Albert D. Levin, outgoing president who will make the annual report and Henry N. Rapaport, who will render the treasurer’s report.
The program will also include the presentation of the President’s Cup, donated to Junior Federation by Mr. Sicher. This is awarded each year to the committee which has given the most service to the organization.
The new officers and committee chairmen will be inducted into office at the meeting. They are: Irving Berkelhammer, president; Leon Kellman, first vice-president; Miss Leona Hermann, second vice-president; Bernard Aronson, treasurer; and Miss Marion Cone, executive secretary.
